The purpose of a well inspection is to identify the water production and evident defects or code violations of the well and pump installation. There are limitations due to lack of visibility of underground components and from not removing well pipe and pump from casing.
The information that may be limited includes the brand of pump, well depth and age.
Any information that the owner/agent has should be made available to clarify these items.
The pump will be run to determine how many gallons per minute it produces. The pump most likely will not be run for more than a few hours.

Note: Analytical Laboratory Results can take 3 weeks!
Flow and bacteria testing can be completed faster. Real estate agents should give ample time to complete the inspection.
During testing the water to the property will be turned off.
